Getting here & around
By air
Belfast International Airport is in County Antrim, near Aldergrove, and George Best Belfast City Airport is close to Belfast city centre. Both have car hire and bus links.
By sea
Ferries sail into Belfast and Larne from Scotland and England. Larne is the quickest crossing to Cairnryan and is a good starting point for the Causeway Coastal Route.
By rail
NI Railways runs from Belfast to Larne Harbour, to Antrim, Ballymena and Coleraine, and on to Portrush. The Coleraine–Derry~Londonderry line is a popular scenic stretch along the coast.
By bus
Translink Ulsterbus and Goldline services link the towns. In summer, the Causeway Rambler bus runs along the coast between Bushmills and Carrick-a-Rede.
By car
The Causeway Coastal Route (A2) follows the coast from Belfast to the Giant’s Causeway and beyond. The M2 and A26 run north to Ballymena and the Causeway Coast.

Parking
348 public car parks across the county. Tap a P for charges, spaces, blue badge bays and EV charging where we have them. Busy spots such as the Causeway fill early in summer, so arrive before 10am or take the bus.
